Our Beliefs

Salvation

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16.

The love of God made Jesus to die for our sins. Thank God, Jesus did not remain in the grave, but He resurrected.

The first question is how do you Access this freedom? Romans 10:9-13

  • Accept that Jesus died and resurrected because of your sins and freedom.

  • Believe in your heart that God raised Jesus up from the dead because of your sins and freedom.

  • Confess or declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord over your life.

The second question is how do you remain in this freedom? I Peter 2:2-3. Romans 8:11-17. Hebrews 10:25. Psalm 122:1

You need: Air, Food, Water, and Shelter

  • Air is the Holy Spirit. You need to ask God to fill you with His Spirit.

  • Food is the word of God. You need to read the word of God (Bible) daily. You can start with the book of John.

  • Water is Prayer. You need water before, during, and after eating. You need to pray before, during, and after reading your bible.

  • Shelter is Church. You need a place of worship. This is your spiritual home. You need to be around like-minded believers. You must belong to a Bible believing church, World Liberation Ministries is one of the many.

The Bible

It is the revealed Word of God and the final authority over all circumstances.

It is inspired by the Holy Spirit, and God’s mind is revealed to man. II Timothy 3:16, 17, Proverb 30:5, 6, Psalm 119:89, and John 1:1–14

Godhead

There are three distinct and unique personalities in the Godhead, also known as the Trinity.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We have one God who manifests Himself in three Persons. For example, a person can be a father, a son, a brother, or a husband. Matthew 28:19, Matthew 3:16, 17; I Corinthians 2:9, 10, II Corinthians 13:14.

The Virgin Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ

Christ was conceived in the womb of a virgin woman through the power of the Most High.

The deity of Christ, his birth, crucifixion, death, burial, bodily resurrection, and ascension to heaven, and being seated on the right hand of the Father, are the core of Christianity. Isaiah 7:25, Romans 1:4, Luke 1:26-35, and I Corinthians 15:3–7.

The Fall of Man

Man fell in the Garden of Eden when he ate the tree of knowledge of good and evil. As a result of that, man became a slave to sin, Satan, sickness, and death.

He lost his relationship with the Almighty God. Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1-3; Genesis 3:7–11; and Romans 5:12–19.

The New Birth

This has to do with genuine repentance from the dominion of sin and Satan by accepting and confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ by faith.

This is also known as being “born again,” “new creation,” and “the righteousness of God.” Our spirit man must be recreated through the Word and Spirit of God. This gives us eternal life. We keep our new experience in Christ through consistent walking in the light. Restitution is the act of amending wrongs done to our fellowmen. It helps in keeping a clear conscience after a new birth experience. John 3, Mark 1:15, Romans 10:9–10, Acts 2:21, 10:43, 4:12, II Samuel 12:1-6, Luke 19:1–10, II Corinthians 5:17, and I John 1:1–10.

Water Baptism

It is the physical proof that our inward man is changed. This ordinance should be carried out after a new birth or born-again experience.

Water baptism is immersion of a person in the name of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost by the authority in the name of Jesus. It is the believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Acts 2:38, 39, Acts 8:28-38, Acts 19:1-6.

The Holy Communion

This ordinance was set up by Christ so that all believers do show the Lord’s death till he comes. The table must be approached with all sincerity, soberness, and expectancy from God.

Only people whose names are written in the book of life are qualified to take this “holy meal.” This mystery launches us into God’s power. Matthew 26:26-29, Luke 22:17-20, I Corinthians 11:23-30.

Holiness

Holiness is God’s Nature in the believer’s heart or spirit. It is our responsibility to daily yield and separate our bodies, souls, and spirits to the Spirit of Holiness by faith.

Christians are to die daily to the flesh, otherwise holiness will be a theory. Holiness does not make us conscious of sin but conscious of God. We need to depend on the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit for victorious Christian living. Holiness is a KINGDOM LIFESTYLE. “It is God’s thing, not a denomination thing.” There is nothing called a “Holiness Church,” every church must be a holiness church. Matthew 5:48, Luke 1:74, 5, John 12:24, Romans 12:1-2, I Corinthians 9:25, 27; I Thessalonians 4:3-7, 5:23, Hebrews 12:14; I Peter 1:14-17, Ephesians 5:25-27.

The Baptism of Holy Spirit

This is the promise of the God to the Church. It is empowerment from heaven upon every believer by the Holy Spirit for the work of the kingdom.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by speaking an unlearned language and utterance as given by the Spirit of God. We believe in the gifts and manifestations of the Spirit. Joel 2:28-29, Micha 3:8, Matthew 3:11, Luke 24:49, John 7:37-39, Acts 1:5-8, Acts 2:1-8, Acts 10:44-47, Acts 19:1-6, Acts 8:18-23, I Corinthians 12:1-11

Total Redemption

Redemption means to buy back. Our redemption entails the following:

A. Redemption from the power of sin and self.
B. Redemption from the power Satan, demons, and system of darkness.
C. Redemption from the power of sickness, diseases, and curses.
D. Redemption from the power and authority of poverty and lack.
E. Redemption from the power of death, hell, and grave. The devil has no power or authority left for him to use against believers. He uses our ignorance to attack us. Ignorance is an invitation for Satan’s attack.
Psalm 49:20, Galatians 3:13-14, I Peter 2:24, I John 3:8, Isaiah 53:4-6, I Corinthians 15:55-57, Ephesians 1:21-23, Colossians 2:10-15, Hebrews 2:14-16, III John 3, Deuteronomy 8:18, Revelation 1:18.

Evangelism and Missions

This is the heartbeat of the Almighty. It is every believer’s ministry. Christ has commanded us to preach, teach and disciple nations for Him.

Evangelism and missions provoke eternal rewards. Reaching the unreached or under reached is compulsory for every blood washed believer. Also, we must be strategic and situational in our approach. Believers should use their spheres of influence as platforms for soul winning. Matthew 28:19,20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:46-49, John 17:18, Acts 1:8, 8:4, 12, Genesis 3:9, Prov.11:30, Daniel 12:3, Ezekiel 13:17-21.

Marriage

God instituted marriage. In the light of God’s Word, marriage is between a man (male from birth) and a woman (female from birth).

Marriage hangs on the following; presence, purpose, procreation, protection, preservation, pleasure, purity, and progress. Genesis 2:23-24, Matthew 19:3-9, Malachi 2:14-16, Matthew 5:31-32, John 4:16-18.

The Rapture

The coming of the Lord is in two stages. The first stage is called the Rapture. The Rapture is the catching away of the saints.

The Lord will appear in the air “in the twinkling of an eye and the dead in Christ shall rise first.” After that, all the saints who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the cloud to join the Lord in the air. John 14:1-3, Luke 21:34-36, Acts 1:11, I Corinthians 15:51-54, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, I John 3:1-3.

Resurrection of the Dead

Everyone who has ever lived will be resurrected, some to honor and glory and others to everlasting shame and contempt.

Job 19:25-27, Psalm 71:20, Isaiah 26:19, I Thessalonians 4:13-16, Hebrews 6:1-2, Rev.20:4, 6, 12-13.

The Great Tribulation

This will occur after the rapture. It will be a period of terrible suffering on earth. It is also referred to as the time of Jacob’s trouble.

During this time, the antichrist will take possession of this earth and reign in a diabolical way. He will set up a system and proclaim himself to be God. The whole period will be seven years. Jeremiah 30:1-7, Daniel 6:23-35, II Thessalonians 2:7-12, Rev. 13:1-10.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will take place in the air with Jesus and His New Bride, the church (believers) while the Great Tribulation continues for seven years on the earth.

The Lord is going to reward every believer accordingly at the Marriage Supper of the lamb. Revelation 19:1-10.

The Second Coming of Christ

The Second Coming is called the “Revelation of Christ.” Jesus will return with His saints to the earth to reign for a thousand years which will usher the Millennial Reign of Christ.

He will reign and execute judgment upon the ungodly and Satan. During this period, Satan will be bound and cast into the bottomless pit for 1000 years according to the scriptures. Zech.14:3-4, Matt. 25:31-46, Jude14-15, Hosea 2:18, Zech.14:9-20, Revelation 20:2-3.

The Great White Throne Judgment

This is God’s final judgment. Everyone who has ever lived will be around. God will judge all works and deeds. The only exception is that believers will not face the judgment because they were already judged on the cross.

The devil and his angels will also be judged and cast into the lake of fire forever. Daniel 12:2-3, Matthew 19:28, Matthew 10:15, Romans 2:15-16, 14:11-12, I Corinthians 6:1-4, John 3:17-19, Jude 6; II Peter 2:9, Rev.20:11-15.

Hell, and the Lake of Fire

A place of everlasting punishment for all whose names are not written in the book of life. Anyone who refuses to accept the Lordship of Jesus will find himself or herself with the devil and his angels in the lake of fire according to the scriptures.

The scripture states even death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire. “The greatest mistake that anybody can make is to die without Jesus.” The only way to avoid hell is abiding in Christ. Psalm 9:17, Matthew 25:41, 46; 5:22, 30, Luke 12:4-5. John 15:6, Revelation 14:10-14, Revelation 20:14-15.

The New Heaven and the New Earth

This is the eternal hope of every believer. The first heaven and the first earth will pass away (refers to original creation, which was marred by sin) will “pass away.” Only righteousness will dwell in the new earth and new heaven.

There is no need for light because Jesus will be the Light. It is going to be characterized by Righteousness, Holiness, and Perfection. Psalm 102:25, 26, Isaiah 51:6, 65:17, 66:22, II Peter 3:10-13, Revelation 21:1-2, 22:1-5.
