What do I pack for the family retreat?
- Casual clothing

What time do I arrive at the retreat?
Check-in time is at 4pm. We recommend arriving between 4pm and 5pm
What time is Dinner on Thursday?
Dinner is at 5:45pm on Thursday

This is my first time at the retreat, what are some fun activities to expect?
You can expect outdoor activities such as volleyball, hiking, nature walk, laser tag, basketball, mini golf, swimming, archery, and zipline.
How do I check in when I arrive on Thursday?
If you arrive before or by 4pm please head over to Birchwood Conference room and look for any of the personnel to pick up your welcome packet. Check-in will be available until 6pm on Thursday.
If you arrive on Friday, please ask for Sis. Lola Adegbola to pick up your welcome packet.
Where can I receive the program details?
The program, room keys and T-shirts will be provided in your welcome packet.
What can I expect at the retreat?
Fellowship and interaction, prayer session, Word, Q&A session, family night, campfire, rest, and prayer walk.
Dietary Restrictions
All guests who have reported dietary restrictions are asked to speak with Blackrock’s Food Service staff at the beginning of each meal. The staff member will be able to advise the guest on the food choices from the buffet line. When the menu does not allow for guests to eat from the buffet line, the kitchen will have an alternate meal prepared. If there are additional concerns, please inform a member of the retreat team at WLWC immediately.
If I need transportation to the retreat center, who do I contact?
Please contact any of the welfare personnel above if you have not registered for transportation. There will be 2 vans at the church premises (1111 East Elizabeth Ave. Linden, NJ) on July 23rd from 10 AM. The vans will leave promptly at noon.
